Julie Boring

CPA

Julie’s career with Boring, Richard & Associates LLC began in 1987 as a certified public accountant.  She graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.  Julie specializes in tax (individual, corporate and partnerships), financial, payroll, advisory services and is QuickBooks Certified.    

Julie lives in Versailles, OH where she enjoys spending time with her family.

Jon Richard

CPA

Jon began his time at Boring, Richard & Associates in 2015. A graduate of Versailles High School, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in 2013, obtained his CPA licensing in 2018 and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs. While at Xavier, Jon enjoyed playing for the Xavier baseball team from 2009-2013.

At the firm, Jon specializes in individual, corporate and partnership tax, tax planning, payroll, and financial statement preparation, as well as advisory services.

Jon lives in Versailles, OH with his wife Karen and their children Cecilia, Meredith, Leo, Floyd, Eleanor, and a new baby on the way! He enjoys spending time with family, boating, golfing and many other athletic activities.

Craig Meyer

CPA

Craig began his time at Boring, Richard & Associates in June, 2020. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University and has had his CPA license for over 30 years. At the firm, Craig specializes in tax, tax planning, payroll, and financial statement preparation.  He also provides advisory services. 

Craig lives in New Bremen, OH with his wife Sandy. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and friends.

Charity Barnes

CPA

Charity joined Boring, Richard & Associates in January of 2019 as an intern and upon completion of the internship, she transitioned to a staff accountant.  She brings with her a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree, both in Accounting from Liberty University as well as an Associates of Applied Business in Accounting from Edison State Community College.  In 2026, Charity became a licensed CPA.  Her specialties in our firm include: individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation; live and after fact payroll processing; financial statement preparation; and Commercial Activity Tax preparation.

Charity resides in Ansonia Ohio.  In her spare time, Charity enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading, traveling and listening to music.

Sharon Barga

Professional Staff

Sharon’s time with Boring, Richard & Associates began 30 years ago working on basic secretarial duties.  As time passed, she progressed from her secretarial duties to helping with payroll processing and checking income tax returns.  This was at a time when all of these processes were done manually!  Today Sharon manages office inventory levels, handles 1099s, and checks many of our income tax returns.

Sharon lives in Versailles with her husband Tim.  Together they have two children, Shanan and Adam (Katie), and four grandchildren, Emma, Leo, Owen, and a baby on the way.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports and shopping.

Kelly Kerg

Professional Staff

Kelly joined the Boring, Richard & Associates team in 2005 as a staff accountant.  She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Tiffin University and has spent her career in the accounting field.  At Boring, Richard & Associates, Kelly specializes in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, preparing corporate and partnership returns and compiling the non-profit returns for the firm. 

Kelly lives in Troy, OH with her husband Dave and their twins, Carly & Isaac.  She enjoys playing tennis and family time, including watching Carly ride horses for equestrian therapy and watching Isaac play soccer.  She also likes spending time with her golden retrievers Arlo & Cooper and cats Nala & Eevee.

 

Paige Berning

Professional Staff

Paige began her work at Boring, Richard & Associates in August, 2019 and brings with her a B.S. in Accounting from Wright State University.  At the firm, she specializes in tax preparation, payroll processing and financial statement preparation.

Paige lives in Versailles with her husband Brendon, their son Owen, and their dog Coco.  When she isn’t at work, she enjoys crafting, bowling, walking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brittany Foster

Brittany joined Boring, Richard & Associates in November of 2024 as an intern. After completing her internship, she transitioned to a staff accountant. She has an Associates of Applied Business degree in Accounting from Edison State Community College and is in the process of completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Franklin University. At Boring, Richard & Associates, Brittany specializes in individual tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing, along with various other projects as needed.

Brittany resides in Fort Loramie with her fiancé Wes and two children, Teagan & Kayden. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and friends, wedding planning,  walking, watching Teagan participate in various activities, and fulfilling her dreams as a new photographer!

Natalie Brunswick

Professional Staff 

Natalie’s time at Boring, Richard & Associates began with an internship in December 2025. After assisting the team through the busy tax season, she slowly transitioned into a full-time staff member while completing her Accounting degree from Bowling Green State University.  At Boring, Richard & Associates, Natalie specializes in individual tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing, along with various other projects as needed.

Currently, Natalie resides in Fort Recovery with her parents.  She and fiancé Bailey will be getting married in January, 2027! Following the wedding, she will continue to live in Fort Recovery with Bailey and their dog, Millie. In her free time, you may catch her going on walks, running, ATV riding with friends, or going out for coffee with her cousin.

Peg Richard

Payroll Specialist

Peg’s tenure with Boring, Richard & Associates began in 2014. Peg’s primary focus with the firm is in the Buckeye Payroll branch where she processes payrolls, and works closely with clients to meet their business needs.  She is also instrumental in reviewing income tax filings during tax season.

Peg lives in Versailles, Ohio with her husband Mark.  She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as extended family.

Jill Steinbrunner

Administrative Services

Jill is an Administrative Assistant and joined the Boring, Richard & Associates team in August, 2016 after more than 15 years of procurement work in the automotive industry.  She is a graduate of Versailles High School and obtained a B.S. degree in Marketing as well as an MBA degree, both from Wright State University.  Jill’s specialties at the firm include customer service, BWC filings and updates, bank reconciliations, electronic filing of tax returns and other various projects as needed.

Jill resides in Versailles, OH with her husband Lance and their three children Will, Chloe and Joel.  In her spare time, she is a National Parks enthusiast who enjoys hiking, traveling, baking, reading and watching her kids participate in various activities.
